# Pages

The Pages section is where you manage every page on your site — your homepage, your about page, your pricing page, anything visitors can land on. From here you can see every page at a glance, check how each one is performing, and jump in to edit or publish.

## What's on this page

### The page library

The main view is a table listing every page on your site. Each row shows:

- **Title** — The page name, with a colored dot showing its status (draft, scheduled, published, or archived) and a pill next to it showing the URL slug it lives at (for example, `/about`). For extension-owned pages, an **Extension-owned page** label appears below the title; for scheduled pages, a **Scheduled** line with the publish date appears below the title.
- **Views** — How many times the page has been viewed.
- **Visitors** — How many unique people viewed it.
- **Views / visitor** — Average pages per visitor. Higher means people are coming back to this page.
- **Avg session** — Average time visitors spend on the page.
- **Exit rate** — Percentage of visits where this page was the last one before leaving the site.
- **CTA clicks** — How many times visitors clicked a call-to-action button on this page.

A dash (`—`) means analytics haven't loaded yet or no data has been recorded for that page yet.

### Toolbar (top of the table)

- **Search** — Type any part of a page title or URL slug to filter the list.
- **Status filter** — Narrow the list to Draft, Scheduled, Published, Archived, or All states.

(In the Pages section, the **Type** filter is hidden because everything here is a page. Switch to Posts, Docs, or other sections for those content types.)

### Row actions

Hover over any row to see its action icons on the right. **View**, **Edit**, and **Delete** always appear; **Copy preview link** and **Analytics** show up only when they apply, so the exact number of icons varies from row to row:

- **View** (eye icon) — Open the page in a new tab as it appears to visitors.
- **Copy preview link** (copy icon) — Mints a shareable link you can send to a teammate so they can review the draft without logging in. Only shown for unpublished drafts.
- **Analytics** (chart icon) — Opens a deeper analytics view for this single page, including a click heatmap and scroll-depth map. Only shown when analytics are available. See [Page Analytics](page-analytics.md).
- **Edit** (pencil icon) — Opens the page in the editor. See [Add / Edit Page](add-edit-page.md).
- **Delete** (trash icon) — Permanently removes the page. You'll be asked to confirm. Extension-owned pages can't be deleted from here.

### Header buttons

At the top of the section:

- **New page** — Opens the builder on a new draft.

To build a page visually, open one for editing and use the **Visual Builder** tab in the editor. See [Add / Edit Page](add-edit-page.md).

## Common things you can do here

### Find a specific page

Type into the **Search** box. It matches against the title and the URL slug, so searching `pricing` will find both "Pricing" and any page at `/pricing`.

### See what's performing best

Click any column header in the analytics columns to sort. **Views** and **Visitors** show you what's popular; **Exit rate** flags pages losing traffic; **CTA clicks** highlights pages converting visitors.

### Create a new page

Click **New page** in the top right. The builder opens straight onto a new draft with the name ready to type; the route fills in from the name as you go. From there, add sections yourself or use **Generate with AI** to draft the page. See [Add / Edit Page](add-edit-page.md) for full details.

### Review a draft before publishing

Open a draft, click **Copy preview link** in the row, and paste it to a teammate. They can review the unpublished version in their browser without needing admin access.

### Look at one page's analytics in depth

Click the chart icon on the row. You'll see view trends, click heatmaps, scroll depth, SEO health, and Google Search Console data — all for that single page.

## Tips

- **Status dots are color-coded.** Hover over any dot to see the label (draft / scheduled / published / archived).
- **Scheduled pages show their publish date** beneath the title, on a line that starts with **Scheduled**.
- **Extension-owned pages** (added by an installed extension) display an **Extension-owned page** label beneath the title and can't be deleted here — manage them from the extension's settings instead.
- **Numbers reflect the current site-wide analytics window.** To dig deeper or change the window for a single page, open that page's Analytics view.
- **Permissions matter.** If you don't have edit permission, the **Edit** and **Delete** buttons are disabled and the **New page** button is disabled. Ask an admin for the right access.

## Troubleshooting

- **Analytics columns are blank?** That's normal on a brand-new site, or right after creating a page. Numbers fill in once visitors land on the page and analytics finish processing.
- **A page won't delete?** Pages added by extensions are managed from the extension's own settings page, not here.
- **Preview link doesn't work?** Preview links are tied to the draft revision. If you published or deleted the draft after sharing, the link expires. Generate a new one and reshare.
- **Can't find a page you know exists?** Check the **Status** filter — it might be Archived. Set it to **All states** to see everything.
