Does hiding a page from search engines make it private?

No. Search-indexing controls are separate from access restrictions; a noindex setting is not a login requirement. Use the appropriate site or content access controls for material that should be restricted. Cedros provides site modes such as Live, Waitlist, Maintenance, and Internal, with availability depending on your setup. Test the intended visitor experience before sharing the URL.
