|---|---|---|
| Who owns the content and website materials I put into Cedros? | Privacy, security & reliability | You retain ownership of your User Content. Cedros receives the rights needed to operate the service and perform the actions you request. Use of generated outputs remains subject to applicable law, third-party rights, and provider terms; it does not transfer ownership of Cedros's underlying software or pre-existing components. [Read the content and AI terms](https://cedros.ai/terms-of-service#8-user-content). |
| If I leave Cedros, what can I take with me, and what should I export first? | Privacy, security & reliability | You retain ownership of your User Content, but export coverage and compatibility depend on the feature and destination. Before access ends, inventory the content, media, customer records, and business history you need, then confirm which export or backup includes each item. The site setup export contains structural configuration, not all content or customer data, and is designed for another Cedros site's import flow. A full backup is a different recovery artifact—not a guarantee that another website platform can import it. Check domain registration and transfer arrangements separately; a Cedros-owned subdomain is not your own registered domain and may be reclaimed when service ends. Download the available artifacts and verify they contain what you need before canceling or closing the account. [Read the portability terms](https://cedros.ai/terms-of-service#32-backups-and-data-portability) or [discuss your migration](https://cedros.ai/contact). |
| What information should I include when reporting a problem, and what should I never share? | Accounts & support | Include the affected site URL, the page or feature, what you expected, what actually happened, and the steps needed to reproduce it. Add the approximate time and time zone, browser or device, the exact error message, and whether the problem affects one person or everyone. A screenshot can help after you remove personal data and secrets. For billing, use the secure support channel and a relevant order or invoice reference rather than full payment details. Never send passwords, one-time sign-in codes, API keys, session tokens, private keys, wallet recovery phrases, or unredacted customer exports. Remove sensitive query parameters from URLs and share only the records needed to investigate. [Contact Cedros](https://cedros.ai/contact); for an issue with another business's purchases or services, contact that business first. |
| Can public support chat change my account, cancel a subscription, or issue a refund? | Accounts & support | Not simply because you ask in a public conversation. The public chatbot can explain published information and help you find the right next step, but your message is not proof of account ownership or confirmation that an action happened. Use the signed-in billing workflow or contact support for account-specific requests, and rely on the resulting account status or an explicit confirmation—not a conversational promise. Any assistant action available inside an authenticated workspace still depends on that user's permissions and the supported tools. Asking for a person also does not guarantee an immediate reply or an approved refund. Never provide passwords, authentication codes, full card details, private keys, or recovery phrases in public chat. [Contact Cedros](https://cedros.ai/contact) or read the [cancellation FAQ](https://cedros.ai/faq/cancel-cedros-subscription). |
| Why is my website chatbot giving an incorrect or outdated answer, and how do I correct it? | AI & automation | Start with the exact question, reply, and any sources the chatbot cited. Correct the authoritative FAQ, page, or documentation and publish the change; an unpublished draft is not a live knowledge source. Check that FAQ retrieval is enabled for the relevant assistant assignment—your private assistant and public support chat have separate source settings. Update conflicting published sources too. Hiding a published FAQ from the public FAQ list does not remove it from retrieval, so hiding an outdated answer is not a substitute for correcting or unpublishing it. Retest in a new conversation with the customer's wording. Retrieval selects relevant sources rather than reading every FAQ on every turn, and an AI answer can still be wrong. If the issue remains, send support the example and the correct published source. [Read how FAQ knowledge works](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/faqs.md). |
| Can I undo an accidental edit or recover deleted content? | Website & content | For a saved page edit, open the page's Revision history, inspect the earlier version, and use Restore As Current Draft. Review the restored draft and publish it only when you want that version to replace the live page. Restoring a draft is not the same as publishing it. If the browser closed before you saved, look for the editor's recovery prompt when reopening the page. Deleting an item is different from editing it: do not assume every deleted record has a recycle bin or can be restored individually. Recovery depends on the feature and the retained revisions or backups. A full backup restore can replace newer live data, so confirm the scope and recovery point before proceeding. [Read the page revision guide](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/add-edit-page.md) and [backup guide](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/backups.md). |
| Why is my custom domain not working or showing a security warning? | Website & content | Check the exact hostname you connected, including whether you are using the root domain or www. In the site's domain setup, review the DNS and routing status and compare your DNS records with the exact values Cedros provides. Correct DNS is only part of the setup: the destination also needs to serve that hostname with a valid HTTPS certificate. Domain and DNS changes can take time to propagate, so a recent change is not proof that setup has failed. Keep the previous working route until the replacement is ready, and do not replace business-email records to troubleshoot the website. Do not bypass a certificate warning to enter account or payment details. If the problem persists, share the domain, the warning, and when the change was made with support—not DNS API tokens. [Read the domain setup guide](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/site-domains.md). |
| How do I regain access if I cannot sign in? | Accounts & support | Start with the correct site and the same email address and sign-in method you used before. A social account, passkey, wallet, and email login are not automatically interchangeable. Use the recovery option offered by that sign-in method, if one is available; recovery for a connected provider may happen with that provider. If you are still signed in as an administrator, Account settings shows whether the site uses the built-in admin login or a connected account workspace. If you are locked out, contact Cedros for a Cedros account, or the site owner for an account on another business's website. Include the site URL and the error, with sensitive details removed. Recovery must establish the right account and authority; never send passwords, sign-in codes, private keys, or wallet recovery phrases in chat. [Account guide](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/account.md) · [Contact Cedros](https://cedros.ai/contact). |
| What happens if I reach my usage allowance or a subscription payment fails? | Plans & billing | For a usage limit, check which resource reached its allowance and the terms attached to that service. Depending on those terms, further use may be restricted, require additional capacity, or incur disclosed usage charges. Usage reporting can lag behind activity, and an annual subscription does not mean unlimited usage. If you use your own provider accounts, check their limits and billing too. For a failed subscription payment, sign in to review the subscription status and use the available secure billing or payment-method flow. Contact Cedros if you cannot resolve it; do not assume a fixed grace period or treat an unconfirmed payment as restored access. [Read the billing and usage terms](https://cedros.ai/terms-of-service#19-fees-and-billing) or [get billing help](https://cedros.ai/contact). |
| How do I upgrade or downgrade my Cedros plan, and when does the change take effect? | Plans & billing | Check the options available in your signed-in billing account. If the plan change you need is not offered there, contact Cedros with your current plan and the plan you want. Before confirming a change, establish the new price, billing interval, effective date, site and team allowances, and whether any additional charge, credit, or proration applies. Do not assume every upgrade is immediate or every downgrade starts at renewal; the confirmed terms for your change govern. Moving between Cedros-managed services and your own providers can also require provider setup. Avoid canceling and buying a second subscription just to change plans without confirming the correct process. [Review plans](https://cedros.ai/pricing) or [request help with a change](https://cedros.ai/contact). |
| What happens after I sign up or purchase a Cedros plan? | General | Sign in with the account you used for the purchase and continue the site setup shown in your customer portal. Account creation, payment confirmation, and creating your website are separate steps: a checkout receipt does not mean a finished website is already live. Hosted site creation requires confirmed subscription access. During setup, choose your site details and whether to connect a domain, buy one through a supported setup, or handle the domain later. Then add your content and configure the customer journeys you need before launching. If you paid but setup still asks for payment, check the purchase status and contact Cedros before paying again. [Sign in](https://cedros.ai/login) or review the [launch checklist](https://cedros.ai/faq/getting-started-with-cedros). |
| Is Cedros in beta, and does a paid plan guarantee uptime or support response times? | Privacy, security & reliability | Cedros is currently in beta. A paid plan alone does not create an uptime or support-response guarantee; the Beta SLA applies unless a separately executed agreement says otherwise. It provides no automatic SLA service credits and no guaranteed recovery times. Applicable refund, export, data-processing, and mandatory legal protections still apply. Discuss critical requirements before relying on the service. [Read the Beta SLA](https://cedros.ai/service-level-agreement). |
| Can I control how long my site's operational data is kept? | Privacy, security & reliability | Yes. Cedros provides retention settings for supported categories such as form values, analytics, audit records, assistant conversations, email artifacts, and sessions. Available windows and units vary by category. Review reporting and operational needs before shortening retention: cleanup can remove records from the live database and is not simply a display filter. [Read the retention guide](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/site-data-retention.md). |
| Does a site setup export include all my content and customer records? | Privacy, security & reliability | No. The setup export contains structural configuration, not entries, contacts, analytics, or campaign history. It packages items such as collections, settings, navigation, redirects, and email scaffolding for another Cedros site's import flow. A full backup serves a different recovery purpose. Export scope varies by feature, so confirm the records and files you need before a move or account closure. [Read the export guide](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/export.md). |
| Are backups automatically stored offsite, and what if I lose the encryption phrase? | Privacy, security & reliability | Offsite backup storage needs remote object storage to be configured; a local-only backup remains on the same server. Keep the encryption phrase in a secure recovery location because encrypted artifacts cannot be restored without the required phrase. Check the backup inventory and storage status rather than assuming a schedule proves recoverability. [Read about backup storage and recovery](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/backups.md). |
| Can I back up and restore my Cedros site? | Privacy, security & reliability | Cedros provides encrypted backup and restore tools, but backups require the relevant setup and permissions. Complete the encryption-phrase setup, store recovery information safely, and configure and verify the schedule. Restoring replaces the selected live data with the backup point, so review the target and consequences first. Maintain independent copies of critical information. [Read the backup guide](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/backups.md). |
| Does closing my Cedros account immediately delete all my data? | Privacy, security & reliability | No. Some records may remain for backup, billing, security, legal, or other permitted purposes; closing an account is not immediate deletion from every system. Export information you need before access ends and submit a specific deletion request where appropriate. Backup retention and third-party copies can limit immediate removal. [Read about account deletion](https://cedros.ai/privacy-policy#25-account-deletion-and-customer-data). |
| How do I request access, correction, or deletion of my personal information? | Privacy, security & reliability | Contact Cedros through the contact form or team@cedros.ai, preferably with 'Privacy Request' as the subject, and describe the account or information concerned. Identity verification may be required. Do not include passwords, authentication codes, private keys, or full card details. For information collected by a business using Cedros, contact that business first because it generally controls the data. [Read the request process](https://cedros.ai/privacy-policy#31-exercising-your-privacy-rights). |
| Does using the assistant send information to an external AI provider? | Privacy, security & reliability | It can. Cedros sends the information needed for the requested AI feature to the configured provider, including relevant inputs or context. Managed providers are subject to Cedros's privacy commitments; bring-your-own-key accounts also follow your agreement with that provider. Retention can vary by feature and provider. Ask Cedros about your required data-handling terms before submitting information with special restrictions. [Read about AI providers](https://cedros.ai/privacy-policy#9-ai-providers). |
| Does Cedros use my private business data to train AI models? | Privacy, security & reliability | Cedros does not use private customer content or data to train generalized models without the customer's affirmative authorization. Its policy also restricts managed AI providers from such training or their own advertising without separate authorization. With your own provider account, that provider's agreement and settings also govern processing. No-training does not mean zero retention for every service. [Read the AI privacy terms](https://cedros.ai/privacy-policy#8-ai-inputs-and-outputs). |
| Does Cedros sell customer data or user information? | Privacy, security & reliability | No. Cedros's Privacy Policy commits never to sell user information, including customer content, AI inputs and outputs, and derived information. Necessary processing by service providers, disclosures you authorize, and disclosures required by law remain subject to the policy's limits; they do not authorize a sale. The commitment applies across plans and does not require an opt-out. [Read the no-sale commitment](https://cedros.ai/privacy-policy#20-we-never-sell-user-information). |
| What is the difference between Cedros Pay, Shop, and Login? | Payments & Solana | Cedros Pay provides catalog, payment, and billing capabilities; Shop provides the storefront, cart, and checkout presentation; Login provides customer identity and accounts. They work together when your experience needs all three. Installing an extension does not automatically configure its providers, products, sign-in methods, or access rules. [Browse extensions](https://cedros.ai/marketplace/extensions). |
| Can I sell access to articles, media, or downloads? | Payments & Solana | Yes, with the appropriate Cedros Pay content and access setup. Article defaults can be Free, Paid, or Subscription, with supported previews and pricing. Gated media can use public, preview-only, or locked access; locked media requires an unlocking product or entitlement. Configure the customer identity, purchase, and access journey together and test it before launch. [Read about paid content](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/pay-content.md). |
| Can I offer discounts or coupon codes? | Payments & Solana | Yes, when coupons are enabled in Cedros Pay. Codes can have percentage or fixed discounts and supported date, order, product, or payment-method conditions. Review any warning that a configured restriction is not enforced by checkout, and test the intended purchase before advertising the code. A saved restriction is not a guarantee that every checkout method applies it. [Read about coupons](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/coupons.md). |
| What should I check if a customer was charged but the order is not confirmed? | Payments & Solana | Check the original payment and order records before asking the customer to pay again. For card checkout, verify the provider result and webhook delivery; for Solana, verify the transaction and its amount, token, recipient, and confirmation. A browser success screen alone is not enough to diagnose the record. Give support the relevant non-secret order or transaction reference and error. [Read about transactions](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/pay-transactions.md). |
| What do I need to accept card payments through Stripe? | Payments & Solana | Configure the Stripe payment method in Cedros Pay with the required keys and webhook signing secret, then connect the exact webhook endpoint shown for your site. Keep test and live credentials in their matching environments, and test checkout through payment confirmation. Payment-provider fees and eligibility requirements still apply. Enter credentials only in the appropriate settings, not public chat. [Read the Stripe setup guide](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/pay-stripe.md). |
| Can I clean up duplicate customer records in Cedros? | Customers & marketing | Yes. The CRM can surface duplicate candidates for review before merging profiles. Inspect the identities and related activity first so different customers are not combined accidentally. When bringing existing activity into the CRM, preview the supported source backfill and check source status. A match suggestion is a starting point for review, not proof that two records belong to the same person. [Explore CRM](https://cedros.ai/crm). |
| Can Cedros notify me about inquiries, completed work, or site events? | Customers & marketing | Yes. Supported notification destinations include email, Slack, Discord, and Telegram, with the required provider or channel setup. Choose the events and routes your team needs, and use personal preferences such as quiet hours and minimum severity to reduce noise. Team destinations and personal channels are configured separately. [Explore notifications](https://cedros.ai/notifications). |
| Why is my booking link unavailable or showing no appointment times? | Customers & marketing | Check that the public booking profile is complete and at least one valid booking type exists. Then review the timezone, working hours, time off, buffers, minimum notice, and booking window. Connected calendar events can block busy time when synchronization is enabled. Configuration lives under Grow → Calendar → My calendar → Configure. [Read the booking setup guide](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/scheduling.md). |
| Why did an email campaign skip recipients or fail to deliver? | Customers & marketing | Check the campaign result, provider readiness, sender configuration, and recipient eligibility. Pending, unsubscribed, bounced, inactive, or suppressed contacts may be excluded from sending. Review list health and the reported delivery errors before retrying; do not re-add opted-out contacts just to increase the audience. Sending capacity also depends on provider limits and your plan. [Review list cleanup](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/clean-email-lists.md) and [provider setup](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/providers.md). |
| Can I import my email contacts or build audiences from website activity? | Customers & marketing | Yes. Cedros supports CSV contact imports and audience lists based on eligible site contacts or visitor tags. Preview mappings and recipients before importing or creating a list. Dynamic tag lists update with their qualifying audience; a Site Users snapshot can be refreshed from eligible contacts. Consent, opt-outs, and suppression still determine who can receive campaigns. [Read about email lists](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/email-lists.md). |
| Can a contact form also offer newsletter signup? | Customers & marketing | Yes. Link the form's email and consent fields to a mailing list when you want to offer a subscription alongside an inquiry. Make that choice clear so an inquiry and permission for future marketing are not confused. The form can be embedded in a page or used through its dedicated link. Test the submission and intended list behavior before launch. [Explore forms](https://cedros.ai/forms). |
| Which social channels can I plan content for in Cedros? | Customers & marketing | The social planner supports channel-specific packages for Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, X, and Pinterest. Prepare each channel's caption, hashtags, links, call to action, alt text, thumbnail notes, and media. Planning support does not mean every channel has an automatic publishing integration; review the actual posting workflow for each destination. [Explore social planning](https://cedros.ai/social). |
| Does scheduling a social post in Cedros automatically publish it? | Customers & marketing | No. A scheduled calendar item organizes preparation and posting work; it does not by itself publish to a social network. Use the manual posting session to copy prepared text, download assets, open the destination, and record the live post URL. An explicitly configured publishing integration may provide another supported route. [Explore social planning](https://cedros.ai/social). |
| Does the public website chatbot have the same access as my private assistant? | AI & automation | No. Public support uses its configured visitor-facing sources and capabilities; private administrative tools have separate permissions. Configure support with the information customers should receive, and keep internal records and secrets out of public sources. Enabling the private assistant does not mean a visitor can use its administrative tools. [Explore support chat](https://cedros.ai/support). |
| Can I hide an FAQ from the public list and keep it confidential? | AI & automation | Hiding a published FAQ from the list does not make it confidential or exclude it from assistant retrieval. Published hidden FAQs can still be used when FAQ sources are enabled. Keep confidential information out of public FAQ content; use appropriately restricted knowledge and access settings instead. Draft and internal entries are not eligible public FAQ sources. [Read about FAQ visibility](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/faqs.md). |
| How do FAQs help my website's AI assistant answer customers? | AI & automation | Published, non-internal FAQs are eligible knowledge sources when FAQ retrieval is enabled for the relevant assistant. Write a clear question and a self-contained answer with the essential fact first, including any setup requirement or limitation. Keep answers current when your offers or policies change. Private assistant chat and public support chat have separate source settings. [Read about FAQ knowledge](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/faqs.md). |
| Why is the assistant unavailable or showing a provider setup warning? | AI & automation | Check whether the site's AI provider is ready and whether it uses Cedros-managed services or your own provider accounts. In a self-managed setup, review the configured credentials, model availability, provider limits, and connection-test result. Managed mode can hide settings that Cedros controls. Keep secrets out of chat; share the non-sensitive error and affected feature with support. [Read about provider setup](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/providers.md). |
| Can I give the assistant reusable instructions for how my business works? | AI & automation | Yes. Skills let you enable supported workflows and tailor their instructions, or create a custom skill with its own name, description, and guidance. Use them for repeatable expectations such as terminology or a review process. A skill's wording does not override account permissions or make an unavailable integration work. Keep factual reference material in your approved knowledge sources as well. [Read about skills](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/skills.md). |
| Can I review or correct what the assistant remembers? | AI & automation | Yes. Authorized users can search, inspect, edit, or delete saved memories in the assistant's Memory workspace. Correct outdated business facts and remove information that should not remain there; deletion also removes the memory's search-index entry. This does not by itself rewrite published pages or delete every conversation containing the same information. Keep those sources consistent too. [Read about memory](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/memory.md). |
| How do I pause a routine or check why it failed? | AI & automation | Turn the routine off or use Stop scheduled runs to prevent future scheduled runs while retaining its definition. Open its run history to inspect whether a run failed, was skipped, or is still running, then review the reported step, provider, permissions, and delivery-channel setup. Stopping future runs does not undo already completed actions. [Read the routine guide](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/routines.md). |
| Will a routine publish content automatically, or leave it as a draft? | AI & automation | It depends on the approved routine configuration. Blog Content Creator defaults to publishing; choose draft-only output if you want to review each post first. Review the routine's sources, actions, schedule, and output mode before approval. Approving a routine that includes publishing can authorize publication on later scheduled runs without reviewing every result individually. [Read about routine publishing](https://cedros.ai/routines). |
| Can Cedros run recurring AI tasks on a schedule? | AI & automation | Yes. Routines let you define reusable steps, inputs, timing, and delivery for work such as summaries or content preparation. Configure the necessary providers and permissions, select a connected notification channel where required, and review the routine before activating its schedule. Use Run now to inspect a run and its output before relying on it. [Explore routines](https://cedros.ai/routines). |
| Can I create and edit images or video inside Cedros? | Website & content | Yes, when the required providers and processing capabilities are configured. The media workspace supports uploads, asset organization, practical image edits, and supported AI image or video workflows. Available models, generation modes, rendering, storage, and usage costs depend on your setup. Review generated assets and their rights before publishing, and add useful alt text where appropriate. [Explore the media workspace](https://cedros.ai/media). |
| Does hiding a page from search engines make it private? | Website & content | No. Search-indexing controls are separate from access restrictions; a noindex setting is not a login requirement. Use the appropriate site or content access controls for material that should be restricted. Cedros provides site modes such as Live, Waitlist, Maintenance, and Internal, with availability depending on your setup. Test the intended visitor experience before sharing the URL. [Read about site access](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/site-access.md). |
| Can I preserve old links when I move or rename pages? | Website & content | Yes. Cedros supports exact redirects for individual URLs and wildcard redirects for a section of your site. Permanent moves generally use a 301 redirect; temporary moves can use a temporary code. Check that each destination exists and that wildcard rules preserve the remaining path when intended. Test important inbound links after migration. [Read the redirects guide](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/redirects.md). |
| Can I run a multilingual website, and does Cedros translate everything automatically? | Website & content | Cedros supports multiple locales, but enabling a language does not automatically translate the whole website. Set the default and additional languages, then use supported translation workflows for pages, posts, and documentation. Review terminology, links, metadata, and layout before publishing the translations. Changing language URL prefixes on an existing site also needs redirect and canonical-URL review. [Explore multilingual content](https://cedros.ai/i18n). |
| Can I import existing blog posts or documentation in bulk? | Website & content | Yes. The Blogs and Docs libraries support uploading Markdown files or a ZIP of Markdown files as drafts. Supported frontmatter supplies metadata, with some missing fields inferred from the filename and body. Review the imported content, organization, links, and media before publishing. Importing documents does not automatically recreate another platform's plugins or application behavior. [Read about blog imports](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/blogs.md) and [documentation imports](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/docs.md). |
| What is the difference between a starter design and a shared page template? | Website & content | A starter is a one-time starting design; a shared template remains linked to its pages. Shared-template pages keep their own copy and media while using a common layout. Publishing a template change updates that layout across linked pages, so review its effect before release. A theme separately controls shared visual choices such as colors and typography. [Explore the page builder](https://cedros.ai/builder). |
| Why are my saved page changes not visible on the live site? | Website & content | A saved draft is not necessarily published. Check the entry's current state, preview the intended revision, and use its publishing workflow when ready. Also confirm the URL, language version, and site access mode you are viewing. A scheduled item will not go live until its scheduled publication. If the published revision still differs from what visitors see, share the affected URL and save or publish error with support. [Read about pages](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/pages.md). |
| Can someone review a page or article before I publish it? | Website & content | Yes. Supported content workflows provide previews and shareable draft links so a reviewer can inspect unpublished work. Use the preview action for the exact draft and generate a new link if a previous one no longer works after content changes or publication. A shared preview link grants access to that preview, so send it only to intended reviewers. [Read about content previews](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/pages.md). |
| Will connecting my domain move my business email too? | Website & content | Website routing and mail routing are separate. Connecting a website domain does not mean you should replace your existing mail records. Keep your current email provider's records unless you are deliberately migrating mail. Cedros mail has its own readiness and DNS setup; review the exact records shown for your site before changing them. DNS changes can take time to propagate. [Read the domain guide](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/site-domains.md). |
| Can I use my own domain name with Cedros? | Website & content | Yes, with the domain setup supported by your deployment. You can connect a domain and configure the primary hostname; supported managed-domain setups can also offer domain registration. Connecting an existing domain can keep DNS at your provider with the required records, or use supported Cloudflare automation. Confirm website routing and HTTPS are ready before removing the old route. [Read the domain guide](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/site-domains.md). |
| Does Cedros offer a free trial or promotional credit? | Plans & billing | Check the current offer before signing up; a free trial or credit is not a standing entitlement for every plan. Any trial, discount, or credit has the conditions disclosed with that offer, including eligibility, limits, expiry, and any conversion to paid billing. The applicable conversion terms must be disclosed before enrollment. [Check pricing](https://cedros.ai/pricing) or [ask about available offers](https://cedros.ai/contact). |
| Are Cedros subscription payments refundable? | Plans & billing | Cedros fees are generally non-refundable, subject to applicable law, your offer or agreement, and the exceptions in the Terms. If Cedros permanently discontinues a paid service or ends it for reasons not attributable to your material breach, fraud, or unlawful use, the Terms provide a prorated refund of unused prepaid subscription fees. Contact Cedros about an incorrect charge. This is separate from refunds you offer your own customers. [Read the refund terms](https://cedros.ai/terms-of-service#24-refunds). |
| How do I cancel my Cedros subscription? | Plans & billing | Cancel through the mechanism provided in your account or another cancellation method Cedros provides. Unless your purchase terms say otherwise, cancellation stops future renewals and access continues through the paid period; it does not automatically refund past charges. Previously incurred usage charges remain payable, and applicable consumer rights still apply. If you cannot find the cancellation option, [contact Cedros](https://cedros.ai/contact). [Read the subscription terms](https://cedros.ai/terms-of-service#18-subscriptions-and-automatic-renewal). |
| Can an agency use Cedros to build websites for clients? | Plans & billing | Yes. The Agency plan supports client work and starts with five live websites, with reusable templates and workflows across projects. You connect and pay for your own supported provider accounts. Plan the ownership, access, and ongoing management of each client site before launch; program participation has its own applicable terms. [Explore the Agency Program](https://cedros.ai/programs/agencies) and [compare plans](https://cedros.ai/pricing). |
| Do draft sites, previews, and staging count as extra websites? | Plans & billing | Drafts, previews, and staging do not use an additional live-site allowance. Each independent live website counts toward your plan; Developer includes one and Agency includes five, with additional live sites available. Check the current allowance and additional-site price before expanding your portfolio. [See website allowances](https://cedros.ai/pricing). |
| Do I have to move all my business tools to Cedros at once? | General | No. You can start with your website and add customer, marketing, booking, or commerce workflows as you configure them. Identify the tools and integrations your business relies on before moving their data or changing a live customer journey. Existing software is not automatically compatible just because Cedros offers a similar feature. [Discuss your setup](https://cedros.ai/contact). |
| Is website hosting included, or do I need my own server? | General | Cedros's hosted plans include website hosting; you do not need to arrange a separate server for that subscription. Developer and Agency also include hosting: using your own providers means connecting supported service accounts for things such as AI and email, not supplying your own web server. Provider usage and other separately billed services can add to the total cost. [Compare hosted plans](https://cedros.ai/pricing). |
| Where can I get help choosing or setting up Cedros? | Accounts & support | Use the [contact page](https://cedros.ai/contact) to tell us about your business, current website, and the work you want Cedros to handle. Include any essential integrations, migration requirements, or expected usage so we can discuss the right setup. You can also explore the [feature pages](https://cedros.ai/features), [pricing](https://cedros.ai/pricing), and [AI assistant examples](https://cedros.ai/ai-assistant) while planning your site. |
| Can customers create accounts without using a wallet? | Accounts & support | Yes. Cedros Login supports familiar sign-in options, including supported email, social, passwordless, and passkey methods, as well as optional wallet methods. You choose which methods to enable and configure the required providers. Customers can manage their profile and account security, while compatible commerce features can use the same customer identity. [Discuss the account experience you need](https://cedros.ai/contact). |
| Can my team work in Cedros with different permissions? | Accounts & support | Yes. Cedros supports roles and permissions so people can access the site areas needed for their responsibilities, such as content, customer work, or operations. Team access depends on your plan; Medium Business is designed for multiple teammates working on one website. Assistant and external-tool access also has its own controls. [Compare plans](https://cedros.ai/pricing) and [learn about access controls](https://cedros.ai/security). |
| How does Cedros know a Solana checkout payment succeeded? | Payments & Solana | Cedros Pay checks the payment amount, token, recipient, and network confirmation before recording a successful payment. It links the transaction reference to the checkout so your payment records connect the wallet transfer to the sale. That lets customers spend USDC they already hold while your team manages the order in Cedros. [Explore the Solana checkout experience](https://cedros.ai/solana). |
| Can I refund a Solana or USDC payment? | Payments & Solana | Yes. Cedros Pay supports refunds through your configured wallet and approval workflow. A wallet refund is a separate transfer back to the customer, so the sending wallet needs enough of the payment token and any required network-fee funds. Keep a clear refund policy and sufficient funds available to honor it. The absence of card-network chargebacks does not remove the need to resolve customer concerns. [Explore Solana payments](https://cedros.ai/solana). |
| Where do USDC payments arrive, and can I withdraw them to my bank? | Payments & Solana | USDC payments arrive in your configured Solana payout wallet, without waiting for a card processor's scheduled payout batch. Moving those funds into a bank account is a separate step through a provider or exchange that supports USDC on Solana and serves your country. Its identity checks, conversion fees, and withdrawal timing apply. Cedros Pay does not automatically turn a wallet payment into a bank payout. [Read more about receiving USDC](https://cedros.ai/solana). |
| Can customers pay in USDC without buying SOL first? | Payments & Solana | Yes, when you enable and fund Cedros Pay's optional network-fee sponsorship. SOL is the token used to pay Solana network fees; sponsorship lets your business cover those fees so a customer only needs the USDC required for the purchase in a compatible Solana wallet. Keep your fee wallet funded to offer this checkout experience. Customers who prefer cards can use your supported card checkout instead. [Learn about fee sponsorship](https://cedros.ai/solana). |
| How do Solana payment fees and chargebacks compare with cards? | Payments & Solana | Direct Solana wallet payments bypass card-network processing fees and the card-network chargeback process, removing that route for chargeback abuse. Network fees are typically under a penny, rather than a percentage of the sale. Platform, provider, account-setup, conversion, and withdrawal costs may still apply. Wallet payments do not eliminate every kind of fraud or customer dispute, so clear refund policies still matter. [See how Solana checkout works](https://cedros.ai/solana). |
| What are Solana and USDC, and why would I use them for payments? | Payments & Solana | Solana is a network for transferring digital assets. USDC is a stablecoin issued by Circle and designed to track the US dollar, so customers can pay in digital dollars and you can receive USDC directly in your payout wallet. Solana offers fast confirmation and typically very low network fees, including for cross-border transfers. USDC is not a bank deposit, and its market price can move away from US$1. [Explore Solana payments](https://cedros.ai/solana). |
| Do I have to use crypto or connect a wallet? | Payments & Solana | No. Solana payments and wallet features are optional. You can build your website, collect inquiries, take bookings, and offer supported card checkout through a connected provider without using them. If Solana suits your customers, you can add it as another payment option alongside cards. Customers choosing card checkout do not need a crypto wallet. [Explore optional Solana payments](https://cedros.ai/solana). |
| Can I sell products and subscriptions with Cedros? | Payments & Solana | Yes. Cedros Pay manages products, prices, supported checkout methods, and recurring billing; Cedros Shop supplies the storefront, cart, and checkout experience. Configure the providers, delivery or access rules, and any shipping or tax settings your offer needs. Test a purchase, refund, and any subscription changes before launch. Available payment methods depend on the product and integration. [Discuss your store](https://cedros.ai/contact). |
| Can I send agreements for signature? | Customers & marketing | Yes. Prepare a reusable PDF template, place signing fields, assign signer roles, and send a request to the right recipients. Cedros tracks progress and lets you follow up with the current signer, then retrieve the completed document and signing evidence. You will need the template, recipient details, sender profile, and configured storage and email. Your business supplies the agreement terms. [Explore contracts](https://cedros.ai/contracts). |
| Can customers chat with AI and still reach a person? | Customers & marketing | Yes. Support chat can run in AI-only, live-only, or combined mode. In combined mode, a teammate can take over a conversation, reply in the same thread, and see the messages already exchanged. You choose where chat appears and which approved sources the support assistant can use. Live help depends on your team's availability, and public support has separate access from your private business assistant. [Explore support chat](https://cedros.ai/support). |
| Can I send newsletters and follow up with customers? | Customers & marketing | Yes. Cedros provides mailing lists, campaign editing, previews, test sends, scheduling, and delivery reporting, alongside an inbox for customer conversations. The assistant can help prepare copy and reply drafts for review. Email delivery requires a configured provider, and capacity depends on your setup and allowances. Use the audience and consent information appropriate to each message. [Explore email tools](https://cedros.ai/email). |
| Can customers book appointments through my website? | Customers & marketing | Yes. Create appointment types with their own durations, descriptions, and intake questions, then set working hours, buffers, time off, and notice requirements. With Google Calendar connected and synchronization enabled, existing events block busy time and new bookings are added to your calendar. Paid appointments also need Cedros Pay and a configured payment policy. [Explore bookings](https://cedros.ai/scheduling). |
| Can I collect inquiries and keep customer history together? | Customers & marketing | Yes. Build an embedded or standalone form, choose the information you need, and manage responses in Cedros. The CRM brings contact details, notes, ownership, and activity from connected tools into customer records, giving your team context for the next reply. Customer identity depends on the information available and your consent settings; an anonymous visitor is not automatically an identified contact. [Explore forms](https://cedros.ai/forms) and [CRM](https://cedros.ai/crm). |
| How does the assistant learn about my business? | AI & automation | Give it approved business facts, website content, and relevant project documents. In the knowledge workspace, organize files by project and pin eligible references such as your services, terminology, or brand guidance. Access, supported formats, size limits, and the particular workflow determine which material it can use; uploading a file does not mean every request reads it. Keep those references current as your business changes. [Explore knowledge and files](https://cedros.ai/storage). |
| Can I choose my AI provider, or use Cedros without AI? | AI & automation | You can use the website and its business tools without making AI part of your workflow. When you do use the assistant, model setup depends on your plan and provider mode. With your own supported provider accounts, you can manage provider and model choices; with Cedros-managed services, Cedros manages the routing. [Compare the service options](https://cedros.ai/pricing) and [assistant settings](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/assistant-settings.md). |
| Can I connect an AI assistant I already use? | AI & automation | Yes. Compatible assistants can connect through MCP, a standard for giving AI tools access to approved information and actions. Cedros provides connection guides for supported clients, including Claude Code and Codex. You control the site's authorized access and can revoke a connection when it is no longer needed. Your assistant provider may charge separately. [Read the connection guide](https://cedros.ai/connect.md). |
| Can I control what the assistant changes or publishes? | AI & automation | Yes. Choose the assistant's access for each area of your business, from no access or read-only access through editing and publishing. Drafting, sending, and publishing are separate actions, and tools still enforce their own permissions. Give the assistant the access needed for the work you want to delegate and review customer-facing changes through the relevant workflow. [Read about assistant settings](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/assistant-settings.md). |
| What can the Cedros AI assistant do for me? | AI & automation | The assistant can use approved business information and tools to draft pages, improve copy, find customer records, prepare replies and campaigns, and help interpret reports. Work can be saved in the relevant Cedros workflow for your team to inspect and continue. Start with a concrete request, such as 'Draft a page for my new service and leave it ready for review.' Available actions depend on your site's setup and permissions. [Explore the assistant](https://cedros.ai/ai-assistant). |
| How can I see whether my website is working? | Website & content | Cedros analytics shows how visitors find your site, which pages they use, and where they engage or leave. Review traffic sources, tracked clicks, scroll depth, form journeys, and technical performance, then open the relevant page to make an improvement. Combine those signals with customer questions and feedback to understand what needs attention. [Explore analytics](https://cedros.ai/analytics). |
| Does Cedros include SEO tools? | Website & content | Yes. Cedros includes page titles and descriptions, search and social previews, SEO checks, sitemaps, and search-visibility controls. Connecting Google Search Console adds available search queries, impressions, clicks, and position data so you can decide which pages to improve. These tools support the work of SEO; rankings still depend on your content, competition, and search-engine decisions. [Explore Cedros SEO](https://cedros.ai/seo). |
| Can I publish a blog, documentation, and FAQs? | Website & content | Yes. Cedros includes tools for articles, documentation, and reusable FAQ answers alongside your website pages. Keep product explanations and customer guidance in the same workspace as the offers they support. Published FAQs can also supply answers to the site assistant and support chat when their FAQ knowledge sources are enabled. [Explore the platform's features](https://cedros.ai/features). |
| Can I add custom features or integrations later? | Website & content | Yes. Developers can build custom React pages for interactive experiences and installable extensions for specialized business features. Those features can work with the supported Cedros tools and services your site uses. Existing code and third-party integrations need a compatibility review; they do not automatically run unchanged on Cedros. [Explore custom development](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/extension-builder.md). |
| Can I make my Cedros website match my brand? | Website & content | Yes. Choose a theme, set your colors and typography, and build pages around your own copy, images, and offers. Themes maintain shared visual choices; page templates let related pages reuse a layout while keeping their individual content. You can also use custom React for experiences that need more control. [Explore themes](https://cedros.ai/themes) and the [page builder](https://cedros.ai/builder). |
| How do monthly and annual billing work? | Plans & billing | Monthly billing charges the monthly plan price each month. Annual billing charges the full annual amount at once; the pricing page also shows its monthly equivalent so you can compare options. The displayed annual savings compare that total with twelve monthly payments. Check the selected plan and billing interval on the [pricing page](https://cedros.ai/pricing) before you subscribe. |
| What should I budget for beyond the subscription? | Plans & billing | Allow for the connected services you use, such as AI and email delivery, plus payment-processing fees, paid extensions, and additional live sites where applicable. Usage costs depend on your provider setup, models, workload, and sending volume. Before choosing a plan, share those expectations so we can confirm the applicable allowances and costs. [Review pricing](https://cedros.ai/pricing) or [contact Cedros](https://cedros.ai/contact). |
| What is included in a Cedros subscription? | Plans & billing | Every plan starts with the core website and business tools: publishing, an AI assistant, knowledge and files, CRM, forms, bookings, email and support tools, analytics, accounts, and commerce capabilities, plus hosting and backups. Plans differ in site allowance, team access, and how connected services are managed. Provider usage, payment processing, and paid extensions may cost extra. See the [current plan details](https://cedros.ai/pricing) for the full comparison. |
| What is the difference between managed services and using my own providers? | Plans & billing | With a managed plan, Cedros manages the service accounts behind supported assistant and communication features. With Developer or Agency, Cedros still hosts your website, while you connect supported accounts for services such as AI and email and pay those providers separately. Choose based on how much setup and provider billing you want to handle, as well as your expected usage. [Compare the plans](https://cedros.ai/pricing). |
| Which Cedros plan should I choose? | Plans & billing | Small Business is designed for a primary operator running one site with Cedros-managed services. Medium Business supports a team working on one site with roles and permissions. Developer is for one site with supported provider accounts you manage; Agency starts with five live sites for client work or a portfolio. Compare current prices, allowances, and billing options on the [pricing page](https://cedros.ai/pricing). |
| What do I need to do before launching my site? | General | Add your business information and branding, build your pages, and configure the services customers will use. For example, bookings need appointment types and availability; email needs a delivery setup; checkout needs products and a connected payment provider. Preview the site on desktop and mobile, then test a complete customer journey before publishing. [Create your site](https://cedros.ai/register) or [talk through your requirements](https://cedros.ai/contact). |
| Can I move my existing website to Cedros? | General | Yes. Cedros has migration tools for supported sources, including WordPress exports, with mapping and a preview before import. Moving content is different from moving an entire application: an existing design, plugin, or custom feature may need to be adapted or rebuilt for Cedros. Start by identifying the pages, customer journeys, and integrations your business relies on. [Read the migration guide](https://cedros.ai/page-docs/migrate.md) or [discuss your move](https://cedros.ai/contact). |
| Do I need to know how to code? | General | No. You can create and maintain pages with visual blocks, themes, reusable layouts, and help from the assistant. Custom React pages and extensions are available when you need a tailored interaction or business feature. The Developer plan does not require you to code: its key difference is that you manage your own supported service-provider accounts and their billing. [Explore the page builder](https://cedros.ai/builder). |
| Who is Cedros for? | General | Cedros suits business owners and teams who want their website, customer information, and day-to-day work connected. Service businesses can collect inquiries and take bookings; shops and membership businesses can offer products and subscriptions; agencies can build sites for clients. You can run the everyday work yourself and bring in a developer for specialized features. [Tell us what you want your website to do](https://cedros.ai/contact), and we can help assess the fit. |
| What is Cedros? | General | Cedros is a website platform with the tools to run the business behind it. Build and publish your site, collect inquiries, take bookings, sell products, manage customer relationships, and prepare campaigns in one workspace. Its AI assistant can help with that work using the business information and tools you approve. Start with the capabilities you need and configure more as your business grows.
