The tools behind a discoverable website
Search and social previews
See search and sharing previews while you edit the page title, description, and image. Shape the first impression before publishing. Previews use the same page and site settings as your live website.
Built-in page checks
Catch missing metadata, unsuitable title and description lengths, missing page text, and indexing issues before publishing. Checks include links to fields you can fix, so you can act on the finding without leaving the editor.
Google Search Console
Connect Google Search Console to bring queries, impressions, clicks, click-through rate, and average position into page analytics. See which searches reach a page, then open that page to improve the offer or explanation. A verified property and connection are required.
Sitemaps and indexing
Cedros generates sitemaps from eligible published content and applies your search-visibility settings. Inspect each page’s canonical URL, indexing rules, language links, and structured data in the SEO panel. The publishing system and the search settings work together.
Make improvements with your assistant.
“Check the SEO fields on our services page and draft a clearer title and description.”
Your assistant can inspect saved page content and SEO inputs through Cedros tools. It can prepare edits with that context, while your access and publishing permissions control what it can change.
Set the shared details once. Refine each page.
Use a sitewide title format and default social image, then give individual pages their own titles, descriptions, and images. New pages use the shared settings where applicable, and important landing pages keep the specific message they need.
Useful to know
What works without connecting Google Search Console?
Search and sharing previews, page-level metadata, SEO checks, sitemap generation, and visibility controls are built into Cedros. Google Search Console adds search-engine reporting; it is not required to build or publish your site.
What does the Search Console connection require?
You need a verified Google Search Console property and a service account with read access. Add its credentials in Cedros’s analytics settings to show search queries, impressions, clicks, and position data alongside your page analytics.
Can I keep a page out of search results?
Yes. Cedros has sitewide and page-level search-visibility controls. Pages marked not to be indexed are excluded from eligible sitemap output. Search visibility is separate from access control: use access restrictions for private content.
Does built-in SEO guarantee rankings?
No platform can guarantee rankings. Cedros provides the publishing controls, checks, and reporting to do the work; visibility still depends on your content, audience, competition, and search-engine decisions.
Build the website. Keep improving how people find it.
Bring publishing, search performance, and your assistant into the same workspace.
