Use Monetization → Transactions to check whether a payment completed and find its reference. Switch to the Orders tab to review the related purchase overview. Confirm the payment, purchased item, and customer before arranging delivery or resolving a payment question.
A completed payment confirms payment status. Check shipping, fulfillment, or access to digital content separately before telling a customer their purchase is ready.
Find a payment
- Open Monetization → Transactions and select the Transactions tab.
- Enter all or part of the transaction ID or Resource value in Search. Resource identifies what the payment was for, such as a product or page.
- Use Method to narrow the list to Card or Crypto, or leave All methods selected.
- Check the matching row's ID, resource, amount, currency, status, and date. If a Provider reference appears below the ID, keep that reference when comparing the payment with the payment provider's record.
- Use the page controls below the table to see more matches. Choose Clear search or Clear filters to broaden the results.
Search matches transaction IDs and resource values without requiring exact capitalization. It does not search customer names, email addresses, or the separate Provider reference. Ask for the Cedros transaction reference when a customer needs help finding a purchase.
The list starts with recent records. Clicking a sortable column heading changes the order of the loaded page, not the whole payment history. Search and the method filter apply before paging.
If your site uses private account balances, those payments appear under Credits. Credit and debit card payments appear under Card · Stripe.
Read the payment status
- Complete: the payment is recorded as successful. Match it to the right purchase and check delivery or customer access separately.
- Pending confirmation: the payment is not yet confirmed complete. Refresh and check the same payment before asking the customer to try again.
- Failed: the payment did not complete. If the customer reports a charge, compare the reference with the provider's record before arranging another payment.
- Refunded: the payment is recorded as refunded. Check the related refund record when confirming the amount and outcome with the customer.
Partially refunded appears beneath the amount when only part of a completed payment has been returned. The row still shows the original payment amount, so do not read it as the amount remaining after the refund.
An unresolved refund is not a confirmed refund. If the row says Refund unresolved — do not send a new payout, investigate the existing request. If it says Refund reversed — review in Stripe, check that refund in Stripe before telling the customer it is complete.
Match the purchase in Orders
- Open the Orders tab beside Transactions.
- Use Status to choose Paid, Refunded, or another available status. Choose All statuses to remove the filter.
- Compare the order reference, amount, source, and date with the payment you found. Order references are shortened in the table; use the full reference from Transactions when asking for help.
- Select the order reference to expand its details. Select it again to collapse the row.
The current Orders view provides a purchase summary. A payment shown as Complete in Transactions normally appears as paid here. The two labels describe the same successful payment, not two separate charges.
The Customer column may show a dash, and the expanded area may be empty. Customer identity, item details, tracking, and status history are not currently supplied in this view. Use the customer receipt, your fulfillment system, or an administrator's purchase lookup to confirm those details. A blank area does not mean the purchase had no customer or no delivery activity.
Orders currently has a status filter but no search or next-page controls. If the order you need is outside the displayed list, find its payment in Transactions and ask your administrator to retrieve the full purchase record.
Check delivery and customer access
For a physical product, compare the paid purchase with your packing, shipping, or delivery records. For digital content or a subscription, confirm that the intended customer can open the content or use the service they bought.
The Orders status menu includes Processing, Fulfilled, Shipped, and Delivered, but selecting one only filters the list. It does not change an order, send a shipment, or confirm that tracking is connected. Use your site's fulfillment workflow to make those updates.
If payment is complete but access is missing, first check that the customer is signed in to the account used for the purchase. Then ask your administrator to match the payment reference to the purchased product, page, or plan. See Creating your first product and Creating subscription plans for purchase and access checks.
Understand the summary totals
The summary cards describe the wider payment history, not just the rows selected by your current search or filter.
Orders on the Transactions tab counts successful payment records. Total on the Orders tab also includes records that are pending, failed, or refunded. These counts can differ without indicating a missing purchase. The Paid, Pending, and Refunded cards do not show every possible status, so they may not add up to Total.
Treat Revenue as a payment summary, not a bank payout or accounting balance. It uses the original amounts of payments still recorded as successful; partial refunds do not reduce those displayed amounts. Fees and payout timing also need separate reconciliation.
When the history includes other currencies, revenue cards may show See transactions. Review each payment in its own currency; the summary does not convert different currencies into USD. If an amount shows Amount unavailable, check the original record rather than interpreting it as zero.
A warning that the list or statistics may be partial means you should not use them as a complete report. Ask your administrator for the full records needed for reconciliation. See Getting started with payments for checking the complete buyer journey.
Handle missing or stale results
- No matching transactions: clear Search and Method, check the reference, and page through the results. Searching a customer email or Provider reference will not find it.
- Search is unavailable: if the page says the list is unfiltered, ask your administrator to update the payment setup before relying on search results.
- Failed to load transactions or orders: use the retry control if shown, or reload the page. Previously displayed rows can remain visible after a refresh fails.
- Live payment data is unavailable: wait for a successful refresh before acting on a displayed status.
- An order's expanded details stay blank: close and reopen it once. If the information is still missing, use the receipt or ask for a purchase lookup; this view does not currently provide full order details.
Do not interpret a zero summary or an empty list after a loading problem as proof that no payments exist. If Cedros and the payment provider disagree, keep the original reference and have your administrator reconcile that payment before requesting another charge or payout.
Know which actions change a payment
Searching, filtering, sorting, paging, and expanding an order only change what you see. Refund opens a separate confirmation; Confirm refund sends the refund request. Do not use it while simply reviewing a purchase.
If a refund is pending or its outcome is unknown, continue investigating that same request. Avoid creating a separate payout to resolve an uncertain result.
For help, provide the transaction reference, resource, payment method, amount and currency, approximate date, visible status, and what the customer expected. Include the Provider reference if available. See Getting help and reporting a problem.
